Emenike gets royal welcome in Dubai

Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Emenike, was received like a king when he arrived Dubai to join his new club, Al Ain, on Thursday.
Emenike joined Al Ain on a season-long loan from top Turkish club, Fenerbache.
The all-action striker touched down in the early hours of the day and was received at the Dubai International Airport by the club’s team manager, Nasser Al Junaibi, who presented him with an elegant bouquet of beautiful roses.

The manager Junaibi thanked the Al Ain board of directors headed by Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan for their efforts to bring a top-quality replacement in Emenike for Ghana skipper Asamoah Gyan.

The AFCON 2013 top scorer will be presented to the media on Friday.

“Emmanuel Emenike has high technical qualities, he played a significant role to help Nigeria win the Africa Cup of Nations in 2013, as well as an exceptional level performance for Fenerbahce, which made him get attention of major European clubs,” the Al Ain manager remarked.

He will be travel to Austria for pre-season training with his new club after his official presentation to the media and fans.
