Mrs. Ighodalo in turn thanked the traders for receiving them, and promised that her husband will not let them down. She then charged then to come out and vote for a better and improved economy.
The leader of the association, Mr Odion Uwugiamen, in his response said that all members of the Akugbe group of the Lagos Street Market Association have endorsed the candidature of Ighodalo.

He reminded Ighodalo about the governor’s promise to them to build a 500 market stores at the Ikhuweniro community. He said the governor has started the work and when he comes onboard, he should complete it.

The dignitaries that were present at the occasion include the Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Blessing Agbebaku; Edo State Head of Service (HoS), Mr. Anthony Okungbowa and permanent secretaries.
