Edo guber election holds September 28

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has finally announced the postponement of the September 10 governorship election in Edo State by 18 days.
Mr Solomon Soyebi, INEC national Commissioner in-charge of voter education and publicity, made the disclosure at a press conference at INEC’s office in Benin on Thursday.
Soyebi said the election would now hold on Wednesday September 28.
He attributed the postponement to alleged security threat as reported by security agencies.
