Eagles resume camping today for AFCON 2025 Qualifiers

The 23-man team invited by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for the Africa Nations Cup qualifiers will start camping today in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The Super Eagles have a September 7 date with Benin Republic and three days later another qualifier against Rwanda on September 10
Eagles striker and Africa footballer of the year, Victor Osimhen, is still facing transfer issues with Napoli.
Whether Osimhen, who is yet to play competitive football for three months, will be part of this back- to-back fixtures is uncertain.
A former International and technical director of the NFF, Austin Eguavoen, has been named to handle the two matches as interim head coach.
