Don’t get involved in internet fraud, Osun Commissioner warns students

Commissioner for Education in Osun State, Bamisayemi
Folorunsho, has admonished students of middle school to stay away from bad companies that could have negative effects on their future.
The commissioner gave the admonition  while on an unscheduled inspection visit to elementary and middle Schools for the 2019 open day.
The Commissioner while speaking with the students, also advised
them to focus on their studies and not engage in Internet fraud.
Bamisayemi said they should see themselves as Future
Leaders and run away from every negative advice and stay away from bad
companies.
The commissioner also commended the efforts of the teachers and
assures them that the time for them to be rewarded has come.
He also said there will be training and retraining of teachers  while their
salaries will paid as and when due.
Also the speaking during the visit, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, Hon. Jamiu Olawumi, commended the teachers for their efforts, saying they are miracle workers.
Jamiu advised the the teachers to make the students their
friends as they are the future of tomorrow.
Jamiu also further advised the students to focus on their
studies in  order to become great in life and also advised that they should listen to their teachers.
In their response, Principals of the various schools visited
appreciated the Commissioner and the Special Adviser for the visit and
said there were great turnout by parents for the Open day programme.
Parents of the students also said they were satisfied
with the performance of their children and thanked the teachers for their efforts in giving their children the best.
Some of the schools visited are Salvation Army Middle School, Osogbo, Laro Middle School, Osogbo, Onaolapo Middle School,Ikirun and School of Science, Ikirun.
