Details of Tinubu’s meeting with Osinbajo in Abuja

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo visited APC’s National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, at his Abuja residence on Friday, ending rumours of a feud between them regarding the 2023 presidential elections.

Pictures of the meeting already trending online tell a tale of friendship and cordiality, including hugs.

The pictures also show Tinubu and the vice president walking out together after the meeting in Asokoro, Abuja.

A source at the venue said both leaders had a good meeting catching up after Tinubu had travelled abroad on medical grounds.

The source said Tinubu was very happy to see Osinbajo and the vice president, himself, was glad.

“It was a one-on-one meeting and from all indications, it was a very good meeting,” the source said.

While the meeting was on, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, also joined the duo.

The source added that the vice president and Tinubu had phone conversations while the former Lagos State governor was in London.
