Chinese airlines plan direct flights to Nigeria

The Chinese government is planning a direct flight by Chinese airlines from China to Nigeria.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Public Affairs Unit of the Chinese Embassy in Abuja.
“Chinese airlines are studying the feasibility of operating direct flights between China and Africa according to market rules.
“ The Chinese side will continue to support bilateral cooperation in the field of civil aviation,“ it said.
The statement also said that Chinese investors were also considering investing in the continent’s agriculture, trade, manufacturing, power and tourism sector sectors.
It said that most investors have shown great interests in Nigerian market.
The Chinese government has repeatedly said it was ready to contribute its quota towards the development of Africa’s aviation sector.
