Former governor of Enugu State, Sullivan Chime, has reconciled with his former boss and former governor of Enugu State, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani.
Sullivan served as Attorney General of Enugu State under Chimaroke’s administration and took over from him as governor in 2007.
The face-off between the duo was seen clearly within the eight-year rule of Chime, who did not touch any of Chimaroke’s uncompleted projects.
However, the long face-off between them was brought to an end on Friday when Sullivan Chime paid a visit to his former boss, Nnamani, at his country-home, Agbani.
The visit was not unconnected with the political event coming up on Saturday at the Government House, Enugu, a special solidarity visit of “Ebeano Political Family” to Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
According to a statement by the Coordinator of the Ebeano Political Family, Dan Shere, “all present and former political office holders as well as their numerous supporters and well wishers”, are cordially invited to the epoch making event that will, no doubt, reinvigorate the spirit and audacity of a movement that gave birth to virtually all political actors in Enugu State today.
Those invited include all former Senators, all former House of Representatives Members, all former House of Assembly Members, all former Council Chairmen, all former Local Government Area Party Chairmen, all former Ward Party Chairmen, all former Councillors ,all former Board Chairmen, Heads and Members of all Government Agencies, all Members and Supporters of Ebeano Family and all political appointees.
