Chairman Kwara APC Elders Council resigns (see letter)

The Chairman of Elders Advisory Council of Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief J.B. Ayeni, has resigned from the party.
In a letter addressed to the state chairman of APC through the chairmen of Ekiti Local Government and Opin Ward chapters of the party, Ayeni, the Otunba of Opin Kingdom, said his resignation took effect from August 31.

The letter reads: “This is to express my desire that as from today 31st August, 2026, I cease, henceforth, to be a member of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Opin Ward, Ekiti Local Government and in Kwara State.
“I thank you for the cooperation I enjoyed from all members of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Opin Ward, Ekiti LGA and Kwara State at large”.
