The Debt Management Office (DMO) said the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) would sell as much as N110 billion worth of bonds in May.
The DMO disclosed this on its Website in the “May 2013 FGN Bond Offer Circular’’. It said that the bond sales would open on May 15.
DMO said that the bonds to be sold on May 17 would include two categories of five-year bonds worth N15 billion and N35 billion bonds.
They are to have coupon rates of four per cent and 15.10 per cent, respectively.
Others are N25 billion and N35 billion bonds of seven-year tenor and 20-year tenor with 16 per cent and 10 per cent coupon rates, respectively..
The DMO sold about N108.17 billion worth of bonds in 504 deals in April.
