The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Friday sold N173.43 billion worth of treasury bills, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
The CBN said on its Website that it sold both the 91-day, 182-day and 224-day tenor bills at the regular debt auction.
The apex bank also said that the 91-day treasury bills were worth N20.16 billion at 11. 84 per cent yield, as against the 11.97 per cent yield at the previous auction on June 26.
The CBN also recorded N50.40 billion on the 182-day tenor bills at 13.61 per cent, less than the 13.62 per cent it recorded on June 26.
The CBN also sold 224-day tenor bills at N102.87 during the week, which is expected to have 14.36 per yield on maturity.
