VICTIMS OF GUNMEN ATTACK IN ST. PHILIP’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, OZUBULU ON 6TH AUGUST 2017
On Sunday, 6th August 2017, during the celebration of the Holy Mass in St. Philip’s Catholic Church, Ozubulu, gunmen attacked the people in the church, killing some and wounding some. The following is the record of victims of the attack:

May God grant these martyrs eternal rest in our home in heaven!

The Catholic Diocese of Nnewi has decided to do all it can to help the victims of the gunmen attack in St. Philip’s Catholic Church, Ozubulu. To do that, the Diocese has opened a bank account to which all funds for the care of the victims will be deposited for proper accountability. The account is:

Anybody, parish, institution, company, society, association or group that would like to join the diocese in providing assistance to the victims and their families can send their contributions to that account. We shall keep accurate records of contribution and distribution of the funds.
