The vice-president also disclosed that following the prayer session, officials would proceed to Abuja for the upcoming Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, which would also be dedicated to honoring the late president.

“We will continue receiving foreign diplomats, delegates, and former colleagues who will be arriving to express their condolences.

“Buhari served this country with commitment, and we must not let that vision fade,” he said.

“His life and service to the nation deserved continuous remembrance and sincere prayers from all of us.

“We should continue to remember him in our daily prayers asking the Almighty Allah to have mercy on him, forgive his shortcomings, lighten his grave, protect him from the punishment of the grave, and admit him into His eternal mercy and Paradise,” Pantami prayed

“We appreciate President Tinubu for allowing 25 Ministers to stand with us during this difficult period and for declaring a public holiday in honour of the late Muhammadu Buhari.

“We will remain in Daura to receive those who continue to come and offer their prayers and condolences to the people of Katsina State,”Radda said.
