Oyo State chapter of the Buhari Campaign Vanguard has told Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, not to play God in who becomes the president of the country on May 29.

Olayinka, said the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari, would never be president, citing his alleged failing health.
Addressing journalists on Monday in Oyo town, the State Deputy Co-ordinator for the Vanguard, Akinrogun Segun Taiwo, said ordinarily, the likes of Ayodele Fayose, Musiliu Obanikoro and Jelili Adesiyan should by now be neglected by serious-thinking Nigerians for their serial heinous acts against humanity.
‘’How on earth could a right-thinking and normal human being be wishing his fellow being dead because of politics?
Is Fayose God? Can he tell us when he will die, where and how? Who is Fayose to determine future aspiration of his fellow being? It is even a taboo in Yoruba culture to wish anybody dead.’’
Taiwo stated that Fayose was only living on borrowed times,
adding that in no distant time, he would pay the price of his
governance with stolen mandate.
‘’It is unfortunate that so much undue prominence is being accorded Fayose’s stupefied and defecating utterances by a section of the media. Fayose, by all intents and purposes, is not only a persona-non-grata as far the country’s political landscape is concerned, but a conscienceless ranger whose credentials are renowned for crimes against humanity’’.
On the recent endorsement of President Goodluck Jonathan “by the so-called Yoruba leaders”, Taiwo, a former member of the House of Representatives, advised the president not to live in fools’ paradise.
He said: “The endorsement is fake and of no effect from the
generality of Yoruba electorate. The so-called leaders are not only irrelevant, they have lost credibility. If elections are conducted tomorrow, 75 per cent of Yoruba with PVCs have made up their minds to vote Buhari/ Osinbajo to power as the best and perfect team for the country.’’
