eneramo in hospitalIn a situation similar to that which happened to former Super Eagles captain, Nwankwo Kanu when he went for a medical at Inter Milan of Italy towards cementing a final deal, the doctors at Turkish premier league club, Besiktas FC, have discovered that Nigerian star player, Michael Eneramo has a heart disorder.

The club at the weekend took up the responsibility to correct Eneramo’s heart disorder as they ensured the disorder was corrected in a surgery that was successful and he would be out of action for five weeks.

The former Esperance of Tunisia skipper was discovered to have a heart beat rhythm disorder, but was later cleared after a third round of examinations.

Football Federation of Turkey will make the final decision about the future of the big Nigeria striker.

The Federation’s medical board report is expected next week.

Besiktas reached an agreement with Eneramo for a two-year deal after his contract at another Turkish club Sivasspor ended this summer.

The top Istanbul club are currently in Austria for pre-season training ahead of the forthcoming campaign.

The Nigerian striker said last week that he is relieved to finally sign for Besiktas after he failed a first medical.

The former Esperance of Tunisia captain put pen on paper on Thursday in Turkey and will soon join the rest of the squad in training camp in Austria.

“I have passed all the medicals and I signed the contract paper with Besiktas. I am happy that the storm is over,” Eneramo said.

“I am looking forward to settle down to business with my new team. I will soon join my team mates in Austria for pre-season training.”

The ex-Sivasspor of Turkey striker signed a two-year deal with the Istanbul giants.
