Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has directed former commissioners, special advisers and other political appointees, who served in the administration of Captain Idris Wada to return government vehicles in their possession on or before February 5.
The Transport Officer of the Confluence State, Mrs Laraba Okedi, in a statement on Wednesday in Lokoja, said that the order also affected other categories of political appointees, including members of boards and agencies.
Apart from the vehicles, Okedi said that the former political office holders should immediately return other government property in their possession.
Sources told newsmen that many former commissioners, special advisers and board chairmen were yet to return their official vehicles.
Bello had on January 30 dissolved boards of all parastatal agencies and other government establishments in the North-Central state.
