BBNaija Season 11: Big Brother Disqualifies Nomy After Refusing Bench Warmer Punishment

Whitney Chukwu, popularly known as Nomy, has been disqualified from the 11th season of Big Brother Naija following a violation of the programme’s rules.

Her exit was announced after she refused to accept the “Bench Warmer” role assigned to her during the seventh week of the competition.

Big Brother Revokes Nomy’s Stay

According to the show’s organisers, the punishment followed the Head of House (HOH) challenge, where the least active participant was assigned the Bench Warmer responsibility.

The task required Nomy to collect a designated vest and bench, which she was expected to use throughout the week as part of the punishment.

However, she left the items behind and declined to take part in the assigned responsibility.

Big Brother later questioned her decision.

“Nomy, you are the Bench Warmer, so Big Brother is curious why you left your vest and bench behind. What is your intention?” Big Brother asked.

Housemate Given Opportunity to Explain Action

Responding to the question, Nomy said she did not have any deliberate intention behind leaving the items behind.

She explained that she was not thinking about any specific reason when she walked away from the vest and bench.

After considering the situation, Big Brother informed her that her continued participation in the show had been revoked.

“Last week you were reminded that participation is a privilege and effective immediately, your privilege is hereby revoked,” Big Brother announced.

Nomy Ordered to Leave House

Following the decision, Big Brother instructed Nomy to leave the house within 30 minutes.

The remaining housemates were directed to move to the garden while the disqualification process was carried out.

Previous Warnings Before Disqualification

Nomy’s exit came after previous disciplinary actions during her time in the competition.

She had earlier received a strike and multiple warnings for breaching some of the rules guiding activities inside the Big Brother house.

Her disqualification makes her the ninth contestant to leave the Season 11 house.

Seven housemates had previously been evicted, while one contestant exited voluntarily.
