Bayelsa State caucus of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has applauded President Goodluck Jonathan for the remarkable progress his transformation agenda has recorded in various sectors of the economy.

Rising from its second congress meeting in Yenagoa, with  Jonathan also in attendance, the caucus expressed satisfaction with the focus, zeal and commitment of the President, who has, despite daunting challenges, kept faith with the policies and programmes of his transformation agenda.

Among other things, the caucus noted with satisfaction, the President’s conformity with democratic ideals and principles, his silent revolution in the power, sports, rail transportation, rebuilding of the nation’s dilapidated infrastructure and general turn around in the economy of the nation.

The Bayelsa PDP caucus urged him to continue with his good works, stressing that with the steady progress being recorded in the different sectors under his watch, Nigeria will never be the same after his tenure in office.

The resolution equally thanked Nigerians for their support and encouragement to Jonathan, who has clearly demonstrated an unwavering love and commitment to the nation and its people through the execution of people oriented projects under his transformation agenda.

The caucus threw their weight behind him, his deputy and members of his economic team in their continued efforts at making Nigerians feel the impact of democratic governance in every sphere of life.

The meeting had in attendance  Jonathan, Bayelsa State Governor, Hon. Seriake Dickson, his deputy, Rear Admiral Gboribiogha John Jonah (rtd), former governor Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, former deputy governor, Peremobowei Ebebi and members of the National Assembly from the state.

Others include the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Konbowei Friday Benson, Deputy National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, Chairman and members of the State working committee of the party, among others.
