Air Force Sergeant Torsabo Solomon of
153 Base Support Group (BSG) and attached to Air Force Comprehensive School Yola, Adamawa State, has been arrested in connection with alleged banditry and the attack on Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA).

His Base Commander ordered his arrest on the request of the Commandant of NDA, after preliminary investigations indicted him with the bandits’ attack on the Academy two months ago.

The accused has been conveyed in an Airforce military plane from Yola to the Academy in Kaduna for further interrogation.
Bandits, on August 24, invaded the Afaka Barracks of NDA where they killed a naval officer and kidnapped another.
Troops rescued him on September 17.
