Atona Progressives gives ‘final warning to Fayose’

A Lagos group called Atona Progressives has given a stern warning to the former governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose, for his unrelenting and uncouth utterances “to our revered leader Chief Olabode Ibiyinka George, the Atona Oodua of Yorubaland”.
A statement by the spokesperson of the group in Lagos, Dr Seye O’Dairo, said: “We have had enough of his errant nonsense of disrespecting elders at all time. He insulted Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Governor Seyi Makinde and now Chief Bode George. Governor Obaseki too was not spared. He has refused to remove the log in his own very eyes by retiring his new found godfather, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who we all know as number one enemy of the Peoples Democratic Party. What an irony.
Our leader, Chief Olabode George, would not drag himself in the mud to dance naked with a pig. His commitment and loyalty to the party cut across Lagos, South-West and the national as a whole. He is a well respected Nigerian and a true Omoluabi Eko we hold in high esteem.
His reputation cannot be smeared by co-travellers of Lagos landlord who has enslaved the economic fortune of Lagos into his private vault.
Fayose is advised to stay in Ekiti and rejig his battered political image instead of gallivanting around Lagos to garner sympathy. The PDP in Lagos and South-West are aware of their plan to weaken and bring discord amongst us ahead of 2023 of the already failed presidential project of his paymaster in Bourdillon.
If he refuses to listen to wise counsel, we assure him he would be made a persona non grata in any PDP function in Lagos henceforth.
Enough said.
