Sen. Aishatu Binani, the Governorship Candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa,  has called on the electorate in the state to vote for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the party’s Presidential Candidate in forthcoming polls.

Binani made the call in Yola on Monday during the grand finale of her campaign.

She appealed to the voters to vote for all APC candidates, urging them to set aside religious, sectional, tribal or political considerations.

“We in the APC demand not only your votes but your unflinching support, prayers and mutual understanding that would lead us to electoral victory,” she said.

Binami said, if elected, an APC administration would create multiple job opportunities and other creative ventures in the state capable of boosting productivity.

“These opportunities would go a long way in alleviating poverty in the state and the nation at large,“ she said.

The politician also promised to create more opportunities for women by engaging them in productive ventures, promoting their health, as well as supporting them to acquire education.

Malam Ahmed Barata, the Director of the Campaign Council, thanked the party supporters for their patience and prayers.

He said the party supporters had conducted themselves in peaceful and orderly manner throughout the campaigns in all the 21 local government areas of the state.

According to him, some people have been using social media to blackmail Binami’s campaign, thinking it is the way to win elections.

Mr Samaila Tadawus, the State Chairman of the APC , described the campaign as a huge success considering the mammoth crowd of supporters attracted.

He expressed optimism that the APC was heading for victory in the forthcoming elections and hence the need for supporters to come out in mass and vote for its candidates.

Commodore Abdulaziz Nyako (Rtd) and Alhaji Baba Zango, the senatorial and the House of Representatives candidates respectively, promised to give quality representation, if elected .

They jointly urged loyalists to continue to work assiduously toward the success of the party at the grassroots, pledging more dividends of democracy for them, if elected.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that various groups and associations donated cash gifts and other relevant materials to the gubernatorial candidate.
