enyimba_fcThe Chairman of Aba Elephants, Enyimba International Football Club, Chief Felix Anyansi-Agwu, has declared that his club have the best players in the NIgerian football league.

Ayo Saka and Ifeanyi Ede, both Enyimba players, featured as Nigeria’s domestic league Super Eagles coasted to a 4-1 win over Côte d’Ivoire on Saturday in Kaduna, and the long-serving club boss claims there are more where those two came from.

“We here at Enyimba are blessed with quality players and with no disrespect to other Premier League clubs, each one of our players can confidently secure a starting berth in the home-based Eagles,” Anyansi said.

“We are a mini-national team here and have in the past supplied several players to the Super Eagles, so the invitation of Saka and Ede did not come to me as a surprise.”

Coach Salisu Yusuf was less boisterous about his squad, but talked up their qualities.

“We have a combination of youth and experience here at Enyimba so the coaches can choose as they want,” Salisu said.
