Nigeria-born Arsenal youngster, Chuks Aneke, has joined Crewe Alexandra for the second season running after sealing a loan move until January.
The 20-year-old midfielder made 38 appearances in all competition for the Railwaymen after joining on an initial month’s loan, with the deal extended several times until the end of the season.
Aneke played an integral part for Crewe last season, helping the club lift the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy for the first time in their histor,y and will re-join his team-mates with the same shirt number.
The League One side are now awaiting official clearance from the Football League to field the midfielder in Saturday’s opener against Rotherham.
The former England youth player has been registered with Arsenal since the age of seven and made his competitive debut two seasons ago.
Aneke has also spent time on loan with Stevenage and Preston North End.
