The Nigeria Olympians Association (NOA), headed by Prince Henry Amike, has applauded the appointment of Honourable Gbenga Elegbeleye as the new Director-General of the National Sports Commission (NSC).
A letter of congratulations signed by the NOA President, Prince Henry Amike, describes Elegbeleye as an experienced and a goal-getter in sports administration.
Part of the letter reads: “We at the NOA congratulate you on your well deserved appointment as the new DG of the National Sports Commission. As a foremost administration and goal getter, we have no doubt that you will bring your wealth of experience to bear in your new assignment.”
Prince Amike, who was recently elected as the President of National Athletics Technical Officials also promised to work hand-in-hand with the DG for a successful tenure.
The Nigeria Olympians Association is the umbrella body for all Olympians past and present.
