Wolves manager, Kenny Jackett, has lined-up Nigerian forward, Sammy Ameobi, as a replacement for Bakary Sako who is expected to move in the summer when his contract ends.
Ameobi does not enjoy regular football action at Newcastle and he is looking forward to leaving for a team where he will enjoy regular football action to enable him get called up to the Nigeria national team.
Sako scored 15 goals in the just-concluded season and Wolves manager believes he will lose him to an EPL side.
Ameobi is out of contract this summer and there are speculations that he has turned down a new deal on Tyneside.
He is being linked to a summer switch to West Brom, Burnley and Real Sociedad.
Sammy Ameobi has featured in 26 games in all competitions for Newcastle this season, starting 16 times and scoring twice.
