Nigerian sprinter, Kanyinsola Ajayi, has won the 100m race in the Eugene Diamond League in the star-studded final equaling his national record of 9.84 seconds (0.1) to win the men’s 100m at the Prefontaine Classic.
Ajayi, the reigning NCAA champion, beat World Champion, Jamaican Oblique Seville, to the second position. American Christian Coleman came third in 9.95 seconds.
Ajayi, stormed out of the block and took lead from the start to finish winning in style.
It was a stand-out performance from the 20-year old star.
