Ahmed congratulates Kwara Speaker, others

Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State has congratulated the new Speaker of the 8th Kwara State House of Assembly, Dr Ahmad Ali, and other principal officers on their elections by their colleagues.
Ahmed described the new principal officers of the House as people of impeccable characters with sterling leadership qualities.
The governor said he looks forward to a harmonious relationship with the legislators in the realisation of policies ‎and programmes of his administration.
Ahmed commended the legislators for electing the House leadership ‎without rancour, adding that the development was good for the legislative and democratic processes in the state.
