Super Eagles

African football legend and former Barcelona and Man City midfielder Yaya Toure has rated the Super Eagles as the best team at the just concluded tournament.
Toure took time to review the competition and his evaluation brought out Nigeria as best
The former African Player of the year said: “I was impressed with Algeria. Unfortunately they got kicked out by Nigeria. I’m impressed with the Moroccan team and their manager.
“I was impressed with Nigeria. When you see good football, the stats, they scored more than usual goals.
“Full strike, full attack, playing good football. The most impressive for me in my opinion is Nigeria. The football they played, the goals they scored, the players in the squad and they were winning because the team has two African best players.
“They played such wonderful games and they got kicked out by Morocco in the semi final. I like DR Congo as well. They were doing well and after, they got kicked out by Algeria. I think the Ivory Coast team was a young team but a bit naive. Anyway it’s part of football experience”.
