A suspected ritualists’ den in Ago Oyinbo, a community along Ore/Lagos Expressway, Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State, has been set ablaze by youths.
Some of the suspected ritualists and kidnappers have also been arrested by detectives attached to Igbotako Division of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), following a tip-off.
After the arrest, the youth stormed the place and set it ablaze. A source said the ritualists have been operating in the area for three years, bringing kidnapped people from all over the country to be killed for ritual and money-making purposes.
Seen at the shrine were cow horns, charms and amulets, various types of clothes reportedly belonging to some of the victims of the alleged kidnappers, palm fronds, bottles of gin, calabashes and ‘Ghana must go’ bags.
