Even when the Bible teaches about all-round prosperity, in 3 John 2, which says; “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth”, it is only a wish, which means that it is within your power to make the wish a reality.

Yes, it is my wish, or your wish, to prosper and be in health, but if you do not work, you will not prosper. If I engage in things that are injurious to my health, I will not have good health. Therefore, the wish for a prosperous and healthy life will remain a mere wish, if the needful is not done.

Don’t get it wrong, your abhorrence for your work, or who you work for, contributes to why it appears you are not doing well. You can’t just prosper where you abhor.

If you generate and throw out negative energy into your work, it will be difficult for you to make progress, no matter the amount of hard work. In the same way, you can’t prosper in a city, town, or country you abhor.

For instance, if you hate your work, no matter how much you’re paid at the end of the month, you will discover that you will remain unhappy and poor. Because each day you prepare to go to work, the negative feelings of repugnance for your work, take over you, and from that moment, you become subsumed with anger and hatred for what you do to earn a living.

You must love your work if you must succeed. Otherwise, you will be working and earning monies, yet not making progress because your mindset throwout negative energy always.

Identify those who love their work, they always exhume positive energy, with a progressive attitude to work, and they prosper. Even when their salaries are not enough, they prosper because their mindsets are conditioned for achievement.

They are always wrongly accused of sleeping with the bosses, stealing, or doing juju. Learn to radiate positive energy to your work today, and see how progressive you become.

Because you abhor your work or business, your mind is closed to the innovation taking place around you, for this reason, you fail to upgrade and rebrand to catch up with the trend.

Many civil servants abhor their jobs. Many commercial and corporate drivers abhor their work. Many artisans abhor the ‘rich’ people they work for, therefore they bring negative energy to their work. Despite the cheating and cutting corners they do, they remain unhappy and not prosperous.

Have you wondered why many entrepreneurs are doing well? It’s because they love what they do, bringing lots of positive energy into it. They are thinking, rethinking, learning, unlearning, relearning, upgrading, rebranding, and developing their ideas. They love their enterprise. They bring every positive vibe into it because they abhor failure. See them on social media, advertising and showcasing their brand, goods, and services.

Each time you see Dele Momodu on social media, you see a man who has a passion for what he does. Each time he uploads pictures and videos of himself as he travels around the world, the negative and feeble minds will say he is showing off, no, he is not, he is bringing positive energy to his business.

Check Tony Elumelu, he has changed the concept of corporate advertising and enterprising. He uses every opportunity to draw and drag attention to his businesses, and you are there thinking he is doing social media show-off, no, the man is cashing out. Tony has become the biggest image of his businesses.

People who bring positive energy to work are people of ‘high taste’. They pay attention to details and quality. They have eyes for the good stuff. They wear good quality shoes and clothes, not necessarily luxury brands. They radiate positive vibes.

What are you doing? Why do you hate your job? No village people are after you. You are not doing well because you abhor what is putting food on your table. Take off that negative energy and allow positive energy, and see if your narrative won’t change for good.

Stop hating. Stop envying. Love what you do to earn a living. Negative energy will not allow you to develop ideas and achieve prosperity. You can’t prosper with abhorrence.
