‘You are a fool’, ‘I am not a fool’, ‘Shut up’, ‘I won’t shut up, I am under instructions’…See altercation between Wike and army officer over Abuja land

What could have led to a serious exchange of gunfire was averted on Tuesday. It was
over an alleged land-grabbing incident at the Gaduwa District, Abuja between FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, and a military officer who led some soldiers.
The land is allegedly linked to a former Chief of Naval Staff.
A video of the altercation showed Wike accusing the military of illegally taking possession of a parcel of land.
The officer, dressed in camouflage, insisted he was under instructions.
Wike, who was livid, questioned why the military was laying claim to the property simply because it was linked to a former Chief of Naval Staff.
“Because you are an officer? Nobody does that. The man took land because he was the Chief of Naval Staff?”
The officer interrupted him, insisting that the acquisition was lawful and that he acted professionally. “I am an officer with integrity. Everything was acquired legally”.
Tempers flared as some security officials with Wike tried to interrupt the officer.
The officer had to tell one of them that ‘you are my junior’.
One of the soldiers, weapon drawn, charged at the officials with Wike.
The officer immediately calmed him.
When Wike referred to him as a fool, he refused, telling Wike: “I am not a fool”.
The minister also told him to shut up. He refused.

Under no circumstance should Mr. Woke use abusive language. As a Minister, and government official,he should no better. He is a man with attitudenal ego. Respect is reciprocal.
