Two former Nigeria international stars, Peter Utaka and Yakubu Aiyegbeni scored for their respective Chinese clubs at the weekend in the Chinese Legue.
For Aiyegbeni he was the hero for Guangzhou R and F as his two goals helped secured them a point in a Week 11 game.
Aiyegbeni scored his first goal to equalise against Changchun Yatai in the 22nd minute, just a minute after they sustained a goal.
The former Middleborough striker put his team ahead in the 38th minute, before they lost the lead in the 87th minute.
Guangzhou R and F are now 10th on the league table with 12 points.
Utaka’s lone goal gave Dalian Aerbin the maximum three points as they beat Tianjin Teda 1-0 also in the Chinese League.
Dalian Aerbin are seventh on the league table with 14 points from 12 matches.
Utaka was top scorer in the Chinese top flight last season.
