Wizkid kicks off world tour from Amsterdam

Popular musician, Ayodeji Balogun, (Wizkid), on Wednesday, said he would soon kick-off his musical world tour from Amsterdam.
The `Ojuelegba’ crooner who did not disclose the date of the tour also said that his highly anticipated third studio album would be ready soon too.
“About to catch a flight to where I wanna be; first holiday in three years. Love you my fans. Extended Play (EP), ready when I get back. And I start my world tour. We start off in Amsterdam. What a time. Back in a bit’’, he said.
The 25 years old has featured in more than 20 songs in the music industry which has won nearly 18 awards and 64 nominations.
The awards include MTV Europe Music Awards as well as the World Music Awards.
He has performed alongside American act, Chris brown at the latter’s concert in Durban, South Africa where he released “Expensive Shit”, an Afro beat song built on light guitar.

“Ojuelegba”, a song that highlights the struggles he endured in the early years of his recording career has been received positively both internationally and locally.
Among his songs is the final “Baba Nla” listed as number one at the top 20 Nigeria iTunes for 2015.
