With 511,067 to Oyebamiji’s 444,815 votes, Adeleke wins Osun guber election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on Sunday morning, declared Governor Ademola Adeleke (Accord) as the winner of Osun State governorship election.
The exercise was conducted on Saturday.
With the announcement, Adeleke has been re-elected as governor of the South-West state.
He defeated his closest challenger, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Adeleke was declared the winner following the completion of the collation of results in Osogbo, the state capital.
Declaring the results, Joshua Ogunwole, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Returning Officer for the election, said Adeleke polled 511,067 votes to emerge victorious.
Oyebamiji came second with 444,815 votes, while Najeem Salaam of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) finished third with 17,180 votes.
Adeleke won in 19 local government areas, while Oyebamiji secured victory in 11 LGAs.
