Why Nigerians must vote for Buhari, by activist

From Bode Durojaiye, Oyo.

Patriotic leaders in the six geo-political zones of the country have been advised to eschew parochialism, vendetta and recriminations, but team up with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and his co-travellers, including the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari, in the struggle to liberate Nigeria from the shackles of the people with least mental magnitude, who find themselves in the corridors of power.
A coalition of human rights crusaders gave the admonition on Friday at a sensitisation forum on why the APC Presidential candidate remains the best choice for the country.
Addressing a large crowd at Owode, leader of the coalition,
Mr. Adebiyi Odekanyin, said: “It has been observed that many of the unpatriotic Nigerians have been seeing the role of the former Lagos State Governor as embarrassing and uncalled for. What Asiwaju Tinubu is saying, in a straight forward language, is that a drastic disease needs a drastic treatment. In other words, he is telling the nation that on no account is God ready to manifest Himself to cowards”.
He stated that in the United States (U.S.) and other countries, they are always conscious of the type of people who will
govern them, adding that this culture has never been attempted since 1960 when Nigeria became an independent nation-state.
He posited that some Yoruba elements, who are apparently in the forefront in Nigeria today, believe that the Yoruba “politics of exclusiveness” must be gullotined and replaced with an inconvenient and forceful marriage with our kits and kins wherever they are, whether we like it or not.
“For their little mental magnitude and amnesia about the nature of man, they are pontificating that we must all sleep and face the same direction. The most pleasant surprise and admiration of it all is that almost all the Yoruba traditional rulers, the embodiments of the spirit of the Yoruba progenitor-Oduduwa, are sitting on the fence, while their Rome is on Fire.
