West Ham to buy Emenike for £8.3million

Fenerbahce chairman, Aziz Yildirim, has confirmed striker Emmanuel Emenike is discussing joining West Ham after a loan fee was agreed.
West Ham had to revise figures after an initial loan fee agreement was changed.
Yildirim said: ‘We’re about to loan Emenike to West Ham United. They will give £760,000 to us for this agreement and they will have the option to purchase him for £8.3m. But the deal hasn’t been completed yet.’
West Ham United’s French midfielder, Dimitri Payet, celebrates scoring his second goal during the English Premier League football match between West Ham United and Newcastle United at The Boleyn Ground in Upton Park, East London, England.
The former Nigerian international is set to join the Hammers on loan for the second half of the season, as manager Slaven Bilic looks for attacking reinforcement, after injuries to his strikers left the side depleted in the final third.
Diafra Sakho is expected to make his comeback within a fortnight, having been sidelined for two months with a thigh injury, while Andy Carroll should be back in training next week, after limping out of the 3-1 win over Bournemouth earlier this month.
Despite a restricted wage bill, the departure of Mauro Zarate has freed space for West Ham to add to the signing of defender Sam Byram from Leeds.
The 28-year-old Emenike has spent much of his career in Turkey with Karabükspor and two separate spells with Fenerbache. At the start of the season he moved to Al Ain on loan.
He announced his retirement from international football in October 2015, after winning 37 caps and scoring 9 goals.
