Wenger welcomes Henry’s return

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has welcomed the return of club legend Thierry Henry to the Emirates in a coaching capacity.
The 37-year-old recently returned to his former stomping ground after announcing his retirement at the end of last year.
Henry will now work with the club’s academy players, and Wenger is pleased to have the former France international passing on his extensive knowledge to Gunners’ potential future stars.
“Thierry Henry is making his first steps as a coach,” Wenger said on Friday.
“It’s good for our youngsters to be coached by him. He’s been here once or twice.
“All our former players are welcome to come back here and get their coaching badges. We’re happy to have him.”
During his playing days, Henry picked up two league titles with Arsenal and three FA Cup trophies.
He also represented France 123 times, scoring 51 goals in the process.
