We will take remaining league matches seriously, says 3SC

The Media Officer of Shooting Stars FC (3SC), Jubril Arowolo, on Friday said the club would take its remaining league matches seriously.
He said in Lagos that the last seven matches of the 2014/15 Globacom Premier League were crucial for the club to finish in a comfortable position.
3SC are currently occupying ninth position on the league table with 45 points from 31 matches.
The Ibadan soccer lords will engage Bayelsa United at home in the 32 game.
The ream played a 1-1 draw away in Makurdi against Lobi Stars in the week 31 game.
The media officer said the players were putting everything in place for the match against Bayelsa United in Ibadan on Sunday.
“We are getting ready, although we are still recovering from the away 1-1 draw against Lobi Stars, players would resume training today (Friday).
“The club is happy with the draw in Makurdi, we will be giving our all into the last seven games of the season.
“Judging from our current ninth position on the table, we are not doing badly but we hope to finish well and secure a continental ticket also.’’
Arowolo said that the club’s management was seeking ways of handling the players’ welfare issue.
“Every team has its challenges and what matters is how such challenges are managed.
“Most of the clubs are government-owned and the current financial challenges the governments are facing will adversely affect the clubs.
“This is to say that we too have problem of payment of players’ allowances but we are handling it our own way,’’ Arowolo said.
