‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery’ tops Netflix Nigeria Chart

“Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery”, a crime mystery film centred on complex investigation filled with twists and intrigues topped Nigeria’s Netflix film chart this week.
The movie, praised for its suspenseful storytelling, sharp dialogue and star-studded performances, resonated with Nigerian viewers, keeping it firmly at number one.
“Karate Kid Legends”, an action drama that revisits martial arts rivalry, discipline and mentorship, secured second place on the chart.
In third position is “The Herd”, a thriller about a group of people trapped in a deadly survival situation, while “Love Plus Wine”, a romantic drama exploring love, sacrifice and second chances, came in fourth.
Drama took centre stage in fifth with “Don’t Breathe 2”, a suspense horror film that follows a blind veteran drawn back into violence, while “Troll 2”, a fantasy adventure featuring a terrifying mythical creature threatening a community, placed sixth on the chart.
Classic drama “Waiting to Exhale”, which explores friendship, love and resilience among women, landed seventh, while “Hanna”, an action thriller about a teenage girl trained to be a lethal operative, came in eighth.
In ninth position is “The Croods: A New Age”, an animated family adventure that follows the prehistoric Crood family as they encounter a rival clan.
Rounding off the top 10 is “Don’t Breathe”, a horror thriller about a home invasion that takes a deadly turn.
