Veteran Nollywood actor, Olu Jacobs, dies at 84

Veteran Nollywood actor, Oludotun Baiyewu Jacobs, professionally known as Olu Jacobs, is dead.
He was 84 years.
Wife of the veteran actor, Joke Jacobs, announced the news on Instagram on Wednesday.

Born on July 11, 1942, the veteran Nigerian actor and film executive began his career starring in several British television series and international films.
Known as one of the ‘godfathers of Nollywood’, he trained at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, England, worked with various repertoire theatres in Britain and starred in some international movies.
