Use ICT solutions to develop your businesses, Glo enjoins MSMEs

Telecommunications giant, Globacom has encouraged Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Nigeria to avail themselves of the state-of-the-art ICT solutions by the company to improve their business concerns in order to gain global competitiveness.

The company acknowledged that Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are the engine of economic growth globally and enthused that its operation was configured to enable businesses with its affordable rates and world-class products that could enhance and sustain their operations.

Head, Oil and Gas, Glo Business Solutions, Mr. Adekunle Adeleke, represented Globacom in an interview conducted at the opening session of the two-day African Food and Products Exhibition organised by the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce at the weekend at the Lagos Continental Hotel. The theme of the exhibition was “Sustainability and Innovation: Pathway to Business Success for SMEs”

Saying that the theme of the event was very apt and germane to increasing trade relations between Nigeria and other countries of the world, he said, “We understand that no two businesses are alike and that each has its own unique needs. To address these needs, we offer a range of customized and community-driven voice and data connectivity solutions that help to manage different networking systems. These include internet connectivity, mobile money solutions, Wide Area Connectivity (WAN), credit check for postpaid subscribers, and mobile solutions for establishments”.

According to him, Globacom has extensive infrastructure that covers the entire country, a reliable network, the platforms and connectivity for digital transformation that will assist small and medium businesses to become competitive all over the world adding that as a business enabler, the company was determined to help businesses by designing specialized ICT solutions that would march their growth needs.

Adeleke noted that the nationwide Glo 4G LTE service powered by the Glo 1 submarine cable, has placed Glo in good stead to meet the communication needs of SMEs and proffer relevant solutions for their business growth and sustainability.
