Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State, on Friday, suspended Mr Emmanuel Obasi, his Principal Secretary for one month over dereliction of duty.
The suspension is contained in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr Kenneth Ugbala, in Abakaliki.
In the statement, Umahi directed that the suspension was with immediate effect.
“Obasi is directed to handover all government property in his possession to the SSG before the close of work on January 7.
“Strict compliance to this directive is to be ensured,’’ the statement read.
