Conferring Whitemoney with the status of “Ambassador of Enugu State in Creative Arts”, Ugwuanyi described the crown he (Whitemoney) brought home as “most deserving”.
He urged him to feel good about his accomplishment which he truly earned, saying: “We are very proud of you and wish you many more successes”.

Jokingly, the governor said: “In a lighter mood Mr. Whitemoney, Ndi Enugu who followed your activities in the House observed that you spent most of your time in the Kitchen. While we do not claim to know the meaning, we, however, decided to provide enough food for dinner as we do not wish to see you visiting the kitchen tonight”.

Responding, the elated Whitemoney said, “God’s grace located me abundantly”. He thanked Ugwuanyi for the great honour and warm reception.

He also expressed gratitude to the people of Enugu State and all those who supported him while in the House and promised to uphold “the good things we started from the House”.

His words: “Mazi never changed; I am still cooking; I have not changed; the level has changed but I have not changed; I am still the same person.

“Thank you so much Your Excellency. Daddy I am grateful and I promise to serve this state with all my heart; with my best capacity to do what is right for the Enugu youth empowerment and growth of the community at large.

Meanwhile, Ugwuanyi, on Friday, inaugurated the Website of Gazzetted Chieftaincy Constitutions of Communities in Enugu State with a call on communities whose chieftaincy constitutions have not been codified and gazzetted to do the needful so that theirs can be available to the World-Wide community .

Commissioning the project at the State Secretariat, Enugu, Ugwuanyi said that the Website will provide easy access of information about communities whose constitutions had been gazzetted in the state.

Represented by the Deputy Governor, Mrs Ezeilo, Ugwuanyi said that the Cloud-Based Online Gazetted Chieftaincy Constitutions of Enugu State Communities, makes it possible for all aotonomous communities in the state having Chieftaincy gazetted Constitutions to have the important document for community administration available on the internet for the information and use of citizens and other stakeholders including development partners, researchers, investors, non- governmental organisations and multi-lateral institutions.
” This project would no doubt give the communities a verified and authentic online presence, promote transparency in community leadership, provide guidance in resource allocation, serve as a tool for dispute resolution in the communities and promote human rights community development and community traditions. It will also allow internet search engines like Google, Yahoo and bring to easily index these Constitutions thereby making them easily accessible on the internet using any search engine.
“The community chieftaincy Constitutions are indeed documents containing the collective will of the people of the communities on how they are to be governed by the traditional authorities. Therefore, this document, in view of it’s statusas embodying the collective will of the people on traditional institution administration deserves to be carefully preserved and secured.
” It is in recognition of this underlying need for the preservation , security and sanctity of the documents that the state government resolved to leverage information and communications technology to transform gazette community chieftaincy Constitutions into an electronic form thereby putting them beyond loss, forgery and mutilation that may arise from long usage or handling. With this transformation it will no longer be possible for any unscrupulous or desperate person or group. to seek to compromise the sacrosanct provisions of community chieftaincy Constitutions or layer-in unapproved and self-serving documents or provisions’, Ugwanyi said.

According to the governor, the online project is designed to ,” give the Gazzetted Chieftaincy Constitution of every community an authentic world-wide presence. Generate internally generated revenue for the state as the online copies are not printable or downloadable to get a certified true copy of the document one has to pay the prescribed official fee to government. Reduce disputes emanating from chieftaincy matters in communities because the online constitution would guide all players. Ensure easy and secured availability of the gazette Chieftaincy Constitutions of communities in Enugu State”
He express the hope that the website would bring about equality of citizenship, social and economic justice, competitive and equitable co-existence, a human social order and true democracy.
He commended the ministry of Chieftaincy Matters for the “part-breaking achievement.”
Ugwuanyi urged the people of the state to ensure that the project effectively and urgently translates to the enthronement of deeper peace, harmony and mutual goodwill in their communities
Earlier in his opening remarks, the Commissioner for Chieftaincy Matters, Dr Charles Egumbe, said that the website is www.mocm.en.gov.ng
He hinted that the Constitutions are secured against hacking and inauthorised access. He said that every community gazzetted in Enugu state is contained there.
