Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has appointed commissioners for the Ministry of Housing and that of Sports and Youth Development.

Mr. Vitus Okechi, former Commissioner for Transport in Ugwuanyi’s first tenure and immediate past commissioner for Sports and Youth Development in this second tenure, was redeployed to the Ministry of Housing while Mr Nzekwe Manfred (a new commissioner), replaces Mr Vitus Okechi in the Ministry of Sports and Youth Development.

A statement by the state government said Manfred is the former Executive Chairman of Oji River Local Government Council of the state.

He is also a one time Director of Enugu State Tourism Board and Special Personal Assistant (SPA) to Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on Culture and Tourism.
