UCH will pay Baba Sala’s medical bills, says CMD

Prof. Temitope Alonge, the Chief Medical Director, University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, said the UCH management would bear all medical bills incurred by veteran artiste and comedian, Moses Olaiya Adejuwon ( a.k.a. Baba Sala)
This is contained in a statement on Friday in Ibadan by Mr Deji Bobade, the Public Relations Officer of the hospital.
The comedian, dramatist and actor, is currently on admission in the hospital.
According to the statement, the CMD gave the assurance when he visited Baba Sala on his sick bed.
“All the bills incurred by Baba Sala would be borne by UCH.
“Baba Sala is a national hero who should enjoy now in his old age,” the statement read.
Bobade disclosed that the 85-year-old ace comedian, admitted at UCH on Monday, was responding well to treatment, for an old age-related ailments.
The comedian is popular with hit movies, ‘Omo Orukan’, “Aare Agbaye” and “Mosebolatan.”
