Popular female singer, Tiwa Savage, has written a ‘Save-Our-Soul’ letter to the Lagos State Police Command, alleging threat to her life.

She accused another singer, David Adeleke (Davido), of threatening her life.
Savage insisted that the police must hold the Afrobeat singer responsible should anything bad happen to her or any member of her family.

In the letter dated January 9, 2024 and addressed to the Commissioner of Police, she said she wanted to bring to the attention of the command what she described as a “distresing situation” between her and Davido.

Tiwa Savage explained in her letter to the police that on December 23, 2023, she had made a post which included Sophia Momodu (Davido’s Baby Mama), saying Davido responded to her post by telling her manager that she (Tiwa) should never talk to him again.

She said Davido accused her of using the post on Instagram to taunt him. She said Davido had used words she considered threatening and disrespectful on her.

Describing Davido’s actions as “unethical”, Savage assured the police of her readiness to provide additional information if invited to substantiate her claims against Davido.
