Tinubu’s ally, Shodipe-Dosunmu, becomes Apesin Ola of Okolaba Ekun

The Director-General, The Patriots Roundtable, Prince Uthman Shodipe-Dosunmu, has been elevated to the position of Apesin Ola of Okolaba Ekun.

The former Editor of Daily Times and a close ally of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was elevated from the position of Akinrogun to the higher pedestal of Apesin Ola.

The Patriots Roundtable is one of the groups campaigning for Tinubu’s election on February 25.

The letter confirming the elevation was signed on December 21, 2022 by the General Secretary of “Eyo Oba Olori Eyo Alakete Pupa ‘LABAEKUN'”, Disu Adeyemi K.
The Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, is the Grand Patron of “Eyo Oba Olori Eyo Alakete Pupa ‘LABAEKUN'”.

A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Uthman A.O. Pinheiro, is the President while Brother Lateef Iginla and Engineer M.A. Akinsanya are the Chairman and Vice Chairman respectively.

Chief Kabiru A. Oshodi is the Olori Eyo of Lagos while Chief Titi Okoya is the Lady President.

In his reaction, the Apesin Ola said: “Yesterday, January 3rd at the Conclave of Ẹyọ Oba Alakẹtẹ Pupa Ọkọlaba Ẹkun at Iduntafa in the very heart of ancestral Lagos, I was elevated from the position of Akinrogun to the higher pedestal of APESIN ỌLA . I glorify the Majesty of the workings of Heaven”.
