Tinubu to lead Obanikoro, Ojora, Arinze, others for BON Children Reading 2019

Former Lagos State First Lady and Senator representing Lagos Central at the red chambers, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has been announced as the headline reader for 2019 edition of the Best Of Nollywood Children’s Day Book Reading, scheduled for May 27.

The announcement was contained in a statement by Seun Oloketuyi, CEO, BON Awards.
The statement reads:

“We are excited to be back this year, 2019, with another edition of our annual CSR event for children; BON Children’s Day Event. This year, our beloved Senator, Oluremi Tinubu shall headline our host of celebrity readers.

“Our beloved Senator shall be flanked by Honourable Mojisola Ojora Lawal and Honourable Ibrahim Obanikoro. To join these political figures to read to the children from Nollywood shall be Omowunmi Dada, Tara Adelana, Bimbo Akintola and Segun Arinze.

Oloketuyi, speaking further revealed that, ‘” ’A Walk in her Shoes’’ by Yewande and Tomisi Ogunnubi; is the title of book that we shall be reading this year. It is a book that amplifies the voice of a mother and her teenage daughter in reflective, truthful and funny ways.

“We are optimistic that the Children will learn a lot from our celebrity readers”, he concluded.

The event will take place at Infantino Montessori, Lekki.

In the past, BON Children’s reading has hosted top poltical figures including former Governor Rotimi Amaechi, Mrs. Yetunde Onanuga, Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Honorable Wasiu Eshinlokun, Deputy Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly and a lot more.
