Tinubu: No rational Nigerian should associate with PDP

National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday, declared that Nigerians should reject President Goodluck Jonathan on February 14 because he has failed them.
Speaking during the presidential campaign of the APC at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, Tinubu said it was unfortunate that after six years in office, Jonathan could not satisfy Nigerians with basic needs of life such as security, infrastructure, good roads, jobs, health and food.
At the rally were the party’s presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari, his running mate, Prof. Yemi Osibajo, the National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, National Leader, Chief Bisi Akande, governors led by the host governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, senators, members of the House of Representatives and Houses of Assembly, national officers and other chieftains.
Tinubu told the mammoth crowd: “Jonathan has told you that he has failed. Let him go. He cannot do it. It is not his fault. Let him go. Vote him out on February 14. For six years, he has not done anything. Youths were looking for jobs, tens of them were killed and he is now promising 10 million jobs. Who are they deceiving?
“No rational Nigerian should associate with the PDP. Nigeria is in serious trouble today because of PDP’s misrule. That is why we need a strong character for the presidency which General Buhari will provide.
“All PDP members are failures. The time of deception is over. Nigerians must show them the way out. They are enemies of this country. Buhari went to military school, rose through the ranks, was decorated and went to some of the best military schools in the world. He rose to become a Major-General and eventually, head of State. Now, you are asking for his certificate. How shameful can these people be?”
