Tinubu mourns Chief Imam of Jos

 President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended his condolences to the family and followers of the Chief Imam of Jos, Sheikh Lawal Adam Abubakar.

In a statement by his spokesman, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, on Friday, the President, said Abubakar, a respected Muslim leader, passed away on Thursday in Jos.

“President Tinubu states that the late Imam’s community services and moral leadership will long be remembered.

“The president prays for the repose of the soul of the deceased cleric, and extends his condolences to the Muslim community, the people and Government of Plateau State,” said the statement.
